Search continues for LaSalle County woman after fatal car crash

A Ransom woman remains missing after a fatal car accident early Sunday morning. Evidence at the scene indicates Tanya Shannon, 40, was in the vehicle at the time of the wreck on Grand Ridge Mazon blacktop in southeastern LaSalle County. An autopsy was scheduled for Monday on the driver, Dale Shannon, 41, who was found dead at the scene. The woman is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, 125 pounds with shoulder-length strawberry blonde hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a red dress and a gray fleece hooded jacket, and possibly glasses.
