Search continues for missing Ransom woman

 The search continues today for a missing Ransom woman who disappeared early Sunday morning after her car crashed into a ditch, killing her husband. Police say 40-year-old Tanya Shannan walked away from the scene just southwest of Seneca near the Grand Ridge and Mazon Blacktop but her footprints disappear at the road. Sheriff Tom Templeton says he hopes someone picked her up and she's somewhere safe. Shannan and her husband, Dale, were returning home from a holiday party when they got into the accident. Templeton believes Shannan survived the initial impact of the crash but what happened to her after that is a mystery. Anyone with information is asked to contact local authorities.
