Funeral service for Arthur Lee Stickel, age 89 of Princeton, will be Saturday, Feb 02, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Norberg Memorial Home. Pastor Marvin Strom will officiate. Burial will follow in the Putnam Cemetery on Feb 02, 2013. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Feb 02, 2013 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Norberg Memorial Home.

Mr. Stickel passed away on Monday, Jan 28, 2013 at Perry Memorial Hospital. He was born on Jun 19, 1923 in Henry, Illinois to Albert Lee and Isabell (Bobby) Stickel. He graduated from Putnam High School in 1942. He farmed for most of his life in the the Princeton area. Art was a member of Kiwanis, a gold coat at Perry Memorial Hospital, and was in the Antique Tractor Club. He also enjoyed restoring farm equipment, Midget and Sprint car racing. He married Patsy Jane Yarrington on Aug 14, 1949 in Putnam Christian Church.

Art is survived by his wife of 63 years Patsy Stickel of Princeton. Also surviving are two sons Lynn (Jenny) Stickel of Mark and Ted Jon Stickel of Chillicothe. Surviving as well are two grandchildren David and Elizabeth Stickel of Mark and one sister Roberta Millard of California.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Albert Stickel, his sister Dorothy Morse and another sister in infancy, Isabell.
