Carol Bodnum

Carol Bodnum, 72, of Cherry, died on Wednesday, February 6, at St. Margaret’s Hosptial, Spring Valley.  Services will be held 9:30 a.m. Monday in the Fiocchi Funeral Home, Cherry, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial held at 10 a.m. Monday in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Cherry. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Cherry. Visitation will be from 3 until 6 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home with a rosary service at 5:45 p.m.  She was born on April 4, 1940 in Spring Valley to Kenneth and Bruna (Soldati) Wiltse. She married James Bodnum on June 15, 1957 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Cherry. He preceded her in 2007.  She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Cherry, and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.  She is survived by: her children, James “J.B.” Bodnum of Cherry, Ken (Debra) Bodnum of Cherry, Rick (Becky) Bodnum of Darien, and Vicki (Mike) Hatton of Killeen, Texas; and 9 grandchildren.
