Brandon Ransom

Brandon D. Bowman, 28, of Kewanee died Wednesday, Feb. 6th at Kewanee Hospital.  Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, February 11th at Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services, Sheffield.  Rev. Jason Lafferty will officiate.  Burial will be at Sheffield Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the Jayse and Korbyn Education Fund.

Brandon was born April 28, 1984 in Kewanee, IL, the son of Jeffrey L. Bowman and Lorie Watson..  He graduated from Bureau Valley High School in 2002.  He married Angela Ainley on September 15, 2007 in Manlius, IL.  He loved to draw, music, drumming, and playing with his boys.  He loved sports, the Indianapolis Colts, and the St. Louis Cardinals.  Brandon had played for Bureau Valley basketball team when they took 3rd in state.

Survivors include his wife, Angela; his sons, Jayse and Korbyn; his mother, Lorie Watson, LaFayette; his father and mother, Jeff and Peggy Bowman, Kewanee; his sister, Amber Bowyer, Buda; his sister, Sarah Johnson, Sheffield; his brother Shane Cozadd, Kewanee; his brother, Dylan Thompson, LaFayette; his grandmother, Marcine Rashid, LaFayette; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Tammy and Rodger Keller, Kewanee; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bruce and Josie Ainley, Kewanee; several brother-in-laws and sisters-in-laws; and nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Frank Watson, his grandmother, Margaret Schutz, and his grandfather, William Ainley.
