Patrick Kohr

Patrick H. Kohr, 82, of Princeton, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013, in Colonial Hall Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Princeton.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday in the Fiocchi Funeral Home, Cherry with Rev. Paul Meismer officiating. Interment will follow in the Ladd Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of services Friday in the funeral home.
Patrick was born on February 10, 1931 in Cherry to John and Sarah (O’Taggart) Kohr. He had been department head at Union Carbide in Ottawa and Viscase in Centerville. He had served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955. He married Louise Tanari on November 10, 1956 in St. Benedict Church, Ladd. He was a member of the Cherry Booster Club, had volunteered with the Boy Scout Troop 55 and was a democratic precinct committeeman in Westfield Township.
He is survived by: his wife, Louise Kohr of Princeton; his children, Michael P. (Bonny) Kohr of Princeton, John P. Kohr of Ladd, Maria T. (Matthew) Warren of Aledo, Daniel J. Kohr of Glenview and Amy L. (Terry) Harmon of Princeton; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and 2 brothers, John (Wanda) Kohr of California and William (Joyce) Kohr of Cherry.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; 1 son, Patrick J. Kohr; and 3 sisters.
