Thomas L. Hall Sr. age 69, of Tampico, Illinois died Thursday, September 26, 2013 at his home, in Tampico.
Tom was born on February 5, 1944 in Sterling, Illinois the son of Earl and Terry (Dennison) Miller. He retired from IBEW Local # 196 in Batavia, Illinois as an operator. He was united marriage to Karen Miller on October 5, 1994 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tom collected antique cars, showed springer dogs and horses, enjoyed animals, auctions and fish expos.
He is survived by his wife Karen Hall of Tampico, Illinois; two sons Rod (Kim) Walker of Hooppole, Illinois, Tom (Jennifer) Hall Jr. of Dixon, Illinois; four daughters Rhonda Reed of Prophetstown, Illinois, Vicki Elder Goss of Tampico, Illinois, Wendy (David) Johns of Tampico, Illinois, Amy (TJ) Klockenga of Erie, Illinois; fourteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; his mother Terry (George) Blackert of Prophetstown, Illinois; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, one brother John Hall and an infant daughter Michelle.
Cremation rites were accorded. A Time of Sharing will be held on Wednesday from 5 to 7p.m. at the Garland Funeral Home in Tampico. Memorial services will be held on Thursday at 10a.m. at the Garland Funeral Home with Rev. Les Funderberg, pastor of Open Bible Church in Rock Falls. Burial will be in Tampico Memorial Cemetery.
