Hannah June Hultine1922-2013
Funeral service for Hannah June Hultine, age 91 of Princeton, will be Monday, Oct 07, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Norberg Memorial Home. Pastor Gene Vincent will officiate. Burial will follow in the Elm Lawn Memorial Park on Oct 07, 2013. The family will receive friends on Sunday, Oct 06, 2013 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Norberg Memorial Home.
Mrs. Hultine passed away on Thursday, Oct 03, 2013 at her home. She was born on July 17, 1922 in Princeton, Illinois to Charles H. and Ella (Stiles) Vroom. She graduated from Princeton High School in 1940. Hannah June was crowned Miss Princeton in 1941. She married Glenn F. Hultine on November 24, 1946 in Princeton. He proceeded her in death on January 25, 2010. She was a life-long homemaker, a dedicated farm wife and also worked at Peterson's Clothing Store. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by three children: Sandra (Pat) Noto of Ottawa, Lynn (Kathy) Hultine of Princeton, and June (Gail) Ohlson of Ohio, IL. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Laura (Brett) Bruner of Missouri, Anthony (Mary) Noto of Ottawa, Amanda Diers of Indiana, Sarah (David) Massengale of Missouri, David (Emalie) Ohlson of Princeton, Ellen (Jeff) Day of Dunlap, and Evan Hultine of Princeton. Surviving as well are numerous great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews especially Jay (Jamie) Vroom of Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother and his wife Sanford and Marion Vroom.
