Marion B. Bickett, 86, of Tiskilwa, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at the Walnut Manor Nursing Home, Walnut.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday in the Fiocchi-Jensen Funeral Home, Princeton with Rich Holm officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Princeton. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Marion was born on October 3, 1927 in rural Bradford, to Oscar and Margurite (Charles) Borg. She married James F. Bickett on June 28, 1948 in Tiskilwa. She had worked as a bookkeeper and at the Pioneer research lab as a lab tech. She was a beloved mother and adored grandmother.
She is survived by: her 3 daughters, Kathy Krauss of LaSalle, Margaret (Tom) Stewart of St. Charles, and Lynn (Rich) Holm of Newman; 4 grandchildren, Brandon Carlson, Katie Schwartz, Nathan Holm, and Malea Holm; 5 great grandchildren, Mayah, Sophia and Tessa Carlson, Emma Rose and Olivia Schwartz; 1 brother, Dale (Sharon) Borg of Sevierville, Tennessee; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, James F. Bickett in 2007; 1 sister, Doris Whitfield; and 1 son in law, Skip Krauss.
